Since April 1, 2023, the Immigration Agency of Mongolia has taken over the independent management of issuing and printing residence permits for foreign nationals. These permits are now issued at the One-Stop Service Center (OSSC) in Chingeltei district.
To streamline the process, the Government of Mongolia has introduced a self-service kiosk for issuing residence permits. This kiosk is located at the OSSC for Investors in Government Building No. 11 and is now fully operational.
Business entity representatives can now request new residence permits for foreign nationals, renewals, changes to the inviter’s details, or re-issuance of permits through the online service system. They should select the “Residence Permit Printing Kiosk” option when applying. Once the application is approved and the permit is printed, the applicant will receive a notification to collect the residence permit from the kiosk.
To retrieve the permit, the authorized representative (the individual or organization that submitted the request) must input their registration number and the phone number registered with the DAN system. A one-time password (OTP) will be sent to the registered phone number for verification. After entering the OTP, the user will gain access to the system and can print the residence permit within 2-5 minutes, ensuring a quick and efficient process.
