Hunnu Air (MR) is a Mongolian airline based at Chinggis Khaan International Airport (ULN) in Ulaanbaatar. Founded in 2011, the airline initially operated under Mongolian Airlines Group but changed its name to Hunnu Air in April 2013 to avoid confusion with MIAT Mongolian Airlines, the country's flag carrier. The name "Hunnu" refers to the Mongolian spelling of the Xiongnu, an ancient nomadic people who formed a large tribal confederation northeast of China. The airline's slogan is "Wings of Mongolia".
