About the trip
The sun rises while you have breakfast in the restaurant, picking out your favorites at the egg station and buffet table full of local delights like yak butter, yak cheese, and wild berry jams. 8-9AM start is the most practical at Khuvsgul Lake, yaks will be leaving for the pasture around 8.30AM, and yak herders like to invite us to their homes around this time, joining them for their daily activities give us an in-depth understanding of the life of nomads and sharing meals with them, we can learn more about their dreams, values and more. Taking a boat trip to the wilder side of the lake, we meet a reindeer herder who lives in their teepee and stop by the local’s favorite peninsula where everyone tells their wishes.
